Learning from the players of 20,000 Blocks over 5 months

Here is a selection of the games played over the last 5 months in the project “20,000 Blocks Above the Ground” with commentary on which rules we implemented and why. It is interesting to see players’ reaction to game incentives. Their determination to hack the system has always brought the project further in both gameplay experience and architectural potential. Also kind of cool to see all games results one after the other and compare them. The server is still online — check here how to log in and play yourself.
